Tiny Tots level is for our youngest students (ages 2-5). These students get the joy of being around horses and ponies while learning the beginnings of brushing, balance, and more. Tiny Tot lessons are shorter than our regular riding lessons (20 mins) so we can keep them focused on the task at hand.
The Rainbow Level is an introductory level for young riders aged 6 through 8, who are not yet able to ride and care for a pony independently. Rainbow Level riders should always practice their skills with the supervision and assistance of an instructor! Rainbow Level riders ride on the leadline, or with a “Ground Buddy” walking close by, to ensure their safety and control. They may require help with tasks such as leading and grooming, as well as the simple reading and writing required to complete the Level.
The Red Horsemanship Level is an introductory level, designed to give students a safe overview of basic mounted and unmounted skills. Red Level is appropriate for all students age 8 and up, including returning riders who want to refresh their basics as well as those with no prior horse experience. Our goal is for Red Level students to come away from their initial lessons with a balanced seat, an appreciation for the horse/human relationship, an understanding of basic terminology, and most importantly, a desire to continue their equine education. Blue Level is the fourth step of the Learning Levels program. The Blue Horsemanship Level is a beginner level, designed to help students make the transition from passenger to thinking rider. It encourages students to ride on the flat with attention to detail and an awareness of the horse’s balance, while giving them the skills necessary to safely trail ride, jump, and ride over introductory cross-country fences. Our goal for Blue Level students is for them to ride with control and confidence, while developing initiative and the desire for further progress.

Blue Level students are ready to broaden their understanding of topics learned in Red - Green Levels, adding details that will help them become knowledgeable and responsible horsey caretakers. Quite often this is the point where students begin to understand just how much there is to learn about keeping horses safe and healthy!
Orange Level is the fifth step of the Learning Levels program. Orange Horsemanship is an intermediate level, designed to give students the ability to ride with balance and accuracy on the flat and over fences. This can help you safely participate in mounted activities outside of lessons, while developing an appreciation for flatwork and equitation as well as consideration for the horse

Orange Level students begin to look at the big picture of equine management, learning to think like a horse and consider the long-term effects of feeding, training and health care practices. The knowledge gained in this Level allows you to make sound decisions designed to keep your horse healthy and happy.
Purple Level is the sixth step of the Learning Levels program. Purple Level students begin to study different facets of equine management in depth. This Level is designed to give you a foundation of knowledge that can be used to become a responsible rider, trainer or horse owner
Purple Level Horsemanship rewards patient practice. In order for you and your horse to achieve the objectives in this Level, you’ll need to learn how to work toward a goal - and to trust the magic of consistent, repetitive training.
Teal Horsemanship is an advanced intermediate Level, and the highest mounted Level in the Learning Levels program. It introduces more sophisticated dressage techniques and training philosophy, and develops strong jumping skills in a variety of settings. As a Teal Level rider, you will be asked to “think like a trainer,” to ride with awareness and appreciation of different horses, and to understand that this Level is not as much about completion as it is beginning a new journey
Teal Level is the most advanced Level in the Learning Levels program. Teal Level students are dedicated equestrians ready to deepen their understanding of all aspects of horse care. Students with Teal Level knowledge will be well prepared to pursue equine higher learning or work in the horse industry
